Irving School is proud to be a PBIS school. PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. PBIS is a school-wide system in which a broad range of general and individualized strategies are used to achieve important social and learning outcomes while also preventing problem behaviors for all students.
The purpose of implementing PBIS is to establish and maintain a safe, effective school environment that maximizes the academic achievement and behavioral competence of all students.
